Dr. Jeffrey Swanson
Osteopathic Family Physician
Prior to working in Texas, Dr. Swanson practiced family medicine in New York, Florida, and Colorado. He is an ATP-rated, commercial pilot who enjoys flying, hiking, woodworking, and traveling. He and his wife, Dr. Tezaguic, spend much of their free time with their very large family including their countless nieces and nephews.
Dr. Swanson has been a family medicine physician for more than 25 years, including his service as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Air Force. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth in 1996. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been honored as a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Swanson has practiced medicine in a number of countries and throughout the U.S. as part of his military service, providing him with exceptional and unique healthcare experiences. Serving with honor and distinction, Dr. Swanson was awarded a number of times with military honors and accolades. Following his military career, he continued to refine his professional abilities working in healthcare centers, hospitals, and rural health clinics. For the last 10 years, he has practiced family medicine within Wichita Falls and has engaged in a number of leadership roles within the United Regional Health System.
